Welcome, last week we read that God is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  All three are spiritual
beings that fill the entire universe.  All three are omnipresent which means they are always present everywhere at
the same time.  God cannot be contained by heaven.

In fact, let’s read that God was alive before the heavens and God actually made the heavens.

Psalms 8:3  When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you
have set in place.

Psalms 33:6  By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry hosts by the breath of his mouth.

Psalms 102:25  In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your
hands.

Jeremiah 32:17  “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you made the heavens and the earth by your great power and out-
stretched arm.

Collssians 1:16  For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible,
whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;  all things have been created through him and for him.

Not only does God fill the earth, the heavens and the universe, he created the earth, the heavens and the universe.

Next week, the conclusion to heaven.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

Last week we read that there are at least 3 heavens or layers of heaven.  This week, which heaven does God
live?

Heaven 3 answers this question but we will read some additional scriptures.

1Kings 8:27  But will God really dwell on earth?  The heavens, even the highest heavens cannot contain
you.

2 Chronicles 2:6  But who is able to build a temple for him, since heaven, even the highest heavens cannot
contain him?

Jeremiah 23:23  “Am I only a God nearby,” declares the Lord, “and not a God far away?”  Can anyone hide in secret
places so that I cannot see him?” declares the Lord.  “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord.

Ephesians 4:10  He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to
fill the whole universe.

Hebrews 7:26  Such a high priest (Jesus) meets our need- one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners,
exalted above the heavens.

These scriptures tell us that God is present on earth, in heaven and outside of heaven.  In fact, God is spiritual
beings (God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit) that fills the entire universe.  God cannot be
contained by heaven.  God is omnipresent which means they are present everywhere at the same time.

Next week we will read how God was alive before the heavens and actually created the heavens.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

This week we will read about the location of heaven.  Where is heaven?

Psalms 103:11  For as high as the heavens (plural) are above the earth, so great is the love of those who fear
him …

Mark 16:19  After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven …

Luke 24:51  While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.

Acts 1:11  “Men of Galilee,” they said, “Why do you stand here looking into the sky?  This same Jesus, who has
been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.

Acts 7:55  But Stephan, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God.

Isaiah 40:26  Lift your eyes and look to the heavens (plural).

Jeremiah 31:37  This is what the Lord says:  Only if the heavens (plural) above can be measured and the
foundation of the earth below be searched out …

These scriptures clearly tell us that heaven is upward in the sky.  Heaven is above the earth.

Next week, where does the heavens (plural) start.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

Thanks for reading about heaven?  According to scripture, is heaven a real place?  Does God live in heaven?
Where is heaven?  Is there more than one heaven?

First of all, is heaven a real place?

Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 14:19  “Blessed be Abram by God most high, creator of heaven and earth.

Psalms 115:15  May you be blessed by the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.

Psalms 121:2  My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.

Isaiah 37:16  O Lord Almighty, God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim (angels), you alone are God over all
the kingdoms of the earth.  You have made the heaven and earth.

These scriptures definitely tell us that heaven is a real place and that God created heaven.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

fantastic rays

Last week we ended with the following question.  Did Adam and Eve’s children have sex with each other in order to
populate the earth?

Yes, their children did have sex with each other in order to populate the earth.

Also, Noah’s children married and had sex with their brothers, sisters and cousins in order to populate
the earth.

Here are two more examples.

Genesis 20:12  Abraham married his half sister.

Exodus 6:20  Amram married his father’s sister Jochebed, who bore him Aaron and Moses.

But aren’t these examples of incest?  The following scriptures forbid people to have sex with a close relative?

Leviticus 18:6  No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations, I am the Lord.

Leviticus 18:9  Do not have sexual relations with your sister, either your fathers daughter or your mothers daughter.

Next week, why was sex with a close relative allowed in Genesis but not in Leviticus.  What was the difference?

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

The waters receded.

Genesis 8:1  But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark,
and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.

Genesis 8:13  By the first day of the first month of Noah’s six hundred and first year, the water had dried up
from the earth.

Genesis 8:15  Then God said to Noah, “Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives.
Bring out every living creature that is with you.

Genesis 8:17  Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you- the birds, the animals, and all the
creatures that move along the ground-  so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in num-
ber upon it.

The waters dried up and Noah and the animals came out of the ark.  Noah’s family and the animals were
to multiply and increase in number.

Next week, the covenant God made with Noah and all generations to come.  The sign of this covenant can still
be seen today.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

fantastic rays

Welcome.  Let’s begin our study of Noah’s Ark.

Genesis 6:5  The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclina-
tion of the thoughts of his heart was only for evil all the time.

Genesis 6:6-8  The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain.  So
the Lord said, “I will wipe mankind whom I have created, from the face of the earth-  men and animals,
and creatures that move along the ground, and the birds of the air-  for I am grieved that I have made
them.  But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Genesis 6:13-17  So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence
because of them.  I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.  So make yourself an ark of cypress
wood;  make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.  This is how you are to build it:  The ark
is to be 300 cubits (450 feet) long, 50 cubits (75 feet) wide and 30 cubits (45 feet) high.  Make a roof
for it and finish the ark to within 18 inches of the top.  Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower,
middle and upper decks.  I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens,
every creature that has the breath of life in it.  Everything on earth will perish.

Because of man’s great wickedness, God decided to destroy man, the animals and all of the earth.  He is starting
over.

Because God found favor with Noah, he instructed Noah to build an ark the length of 1.5 football fields with three
levels.

Next week, we begin to study the animals that came upon the ark.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.
