CONCLUSION:  The word “trinity” is not mentioned in the bible, but the idea of the trinity is referred to
many times.  The trinity refers to God as more than one.  God is referred to as the Father, the Son and the
Holy Spirit.  All three are separate spiritual beings or persons but are the same (mirror images of each other)
in 5 important characteristics.

All three are RIGHTEOUS or HOLY (perfect/without wrong), OMNIPRESENT (present everywhere at the exact
same time), OMNIPOTENT (all powerful), OMNISCIENT (all knowing) and ETERNAL (everlasting/no
beginning or end).

A FINAL NOTE:  As we have read, God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are OMNIPRESENT.  All three
are present at all places at all times.  This means all three spiritual beings permeate the entire universe at all
times.  By permeate I mean to diffuse through or penetrate.  This includes the Holy Spirit diffusing through
our souls to impart his righteousness.  More on this when we study “The Point of Salvation.”

Although I don’t completely understand how this is possible, I think they are intertwined or meshed to-
gether, working as one God yet separate spiritual beings.  For sure they are in a dimension that I as a
human can’t understand until I go to glory.

Next week we will begin our study of Angels.  Also spiritual beings.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

Welcome and thanks for reading.  The fifth and final characteristic that God the Father, God the Son and
the Holy Spirit share is their being ETERNAL.  Eternal means everlasting;  without a beginning or end.

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit lived before the world was created and they will never die.

Genesis 1:2  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the
SPIRIT OF GOD was hovering over the water.

John 8:58  “I tell you the truth,” JESUS answered, “BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS BORN, I AM.”

John 17:5  And now, Father, glorify me (JESUS) in your presence with the GLORY I HAD WITH YOU
BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN.

Hebrews 7:24  …, but because JESUS LIVES FOREVER, he has a permanent priesthood.

Revelations 1:8  “I am the ALPHA (BEGINNING) and the OMEGA (END),” says the LORD GOD, “who is,
and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

The previous scriptures tell us that God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are ETERNAL.  They are
everlasting; without a beginning or end.

Next week, we will conclude our study on the Trinity before starting our study of ANGELS.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

Welcome and thanks for reading.  This week we will read about the characteristic of OMNISCIENTS (all
knowing).

—  God the FATHER is OMNISCIENT.

Job 37:16  Do you know how the clouds hang poised, THOSE WONDERS OF HIM (God) WHO IS PERFECT
IN KNOWLEDGE?

Psalms 139:4  Before a word is on my tongue YOU KNOW IT COMPLETELY, O LORD.

Psalms 147:5  Great is our Lord and mighty in power;  HIS UNDERSTANDING HAS NO LIMIT.

Isaiah 40:13  …  Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way?  WHO
WAS IT THAT TAUGHT HIM KNOWLEDGE OR SHOWED HIM THE PATH OF UNDERSTANDING?

1 John 3:20  For God is greater than our hearts, and HE KNOWS EVERYTHING.

—  God the SON (JESUS) is OMNISCIENT.

Mathew 9:4  KNOWING THEIR THOUGHTS, Jesus said, “Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your heart?”

Mathew 12:25  JESUS KNEW THEIR THOUGHTS and said to them …

John 16:30  Now we can see that YOU (JESUS) KNOW ALL THINGS and that you do not even need to have
anyone ask you questions.

In Mathew 16:21  Jesus knew of his own suffering, death and resurrection before it happened.

—  The HOLY SPIRIT is OMNISCIENT.

John 14:26  But THE COUNSELOR, THE HOLY SPIRIT, whom the Father will send in my name, WILL TEACH
YOU ALL THINGS AND WILL REMIND YOU OF EVERYTHING.

John 16:13  But when he, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, COMES, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH.

Romans 8:26  In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.  WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT WE OUGHT
TO PRAY FOR, BUT THE SPIRIT HIMSELF INTERCEDES FOR US.

The previous scriptures tell us that God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are OMNISCIENT (all knowing).

Next week we will read about the fifth characteristic of being ETERNAL.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

Thanks for reading.  So far we have read that God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are separate
spiritual beings, yet they are exactly the same in their RIGHTEOUSNESS and OMNIPRESENCE (to be present
everywhere at the same time).

Thirdly, let’s read about the characteristic of OMNIPOTENCE (to be all powerful).

— God the FATHER is OMNIPOTENT.

Genesis 1:1  In the beginning, GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH.

Genesis 1:3  And God said, “LET THERE BE LIGHT,” AND THERE WAS LIGHT.

Psalms 147:4  HE DETERMINES THE NUMBER OF THE STARS and calls them each by name.

Isaiah 40:12  Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand
marked off the heavens?  Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the
scales and the hills in a balance?

— God the SON(JESUS) is OMNIPOTENT.

Mathew 9:6  But so that you may know that THE SON OF MAN HAS AUTHORITY ON EARTH TO FORGIVE
SINS …

Mathew 28:18  Then Jesus came to them and said, “ALL AUTHORITY IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH HAS
BEEN GIVEN TO ME.”

Colossians 1:15  … ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM(JESUS) AND FOR HIM.  HE IS BEFORE ALL
THINGS, AND IN ALL THINGS HOLD TOGETHER.

Revelations 1:8  “I (JESUS) am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and was, and who
is to come, THE ALMIGHTY.”

— The HOLY SPIRIT is OMNIPOTENT.

Job 33:4  THE SPIRIT OF GOD HAS MADE ME;  the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

Psalms 104:30  When you send YOUR SPIRIT, THEY (ANIMALS) ARE CREATED, and you renew the face of
the earth.

Mathew 12:28  IF I DRIVE OUT DEMONS BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, then the kingdom of God has come upon
you.

The previous scriptures tell us that God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are OMNIPOTENT.  All three
are absolutely all powerful.

Next week we will read about the characteristic of OMNISCIENTS.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

Last week we read that God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all RIGHTEOUS OR HOLY.

This week let’s read about the characteristic of OMNIPRESENCE.  This means to be present everywhere at
the exact same time.

—  God the FATHER is OMNIPRESENT.

Psalms 46:1  God is our refuge and strength, AN EVER-PRESENT HELP in trouble.

Psalms 145:8  THE LORD IS NEAR TO ALL WHO CALL ON HIM …           For the Lord to be near all who call
on him, he must be OMNIPRESENT.

Jeremiah 23:24  “Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?” declares the Lord.  “DO NOT
I FILL HEAVEN AND EARTH?”  declares the Lord.

—  God the SON(JESUS) is OMNIPRESENT.

Mathew 18:20  For where two or three come together in my name (Jesus), THERE AM I WITH THEM.

If Jesus can be anywhere that two or three come together in his name, then he must be OMNIPRESENT.

Mathew 28:19  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations …          … and teaching them to obey every-
thing I have commanded.  AND SURELY I AM WITH YOU (disciples of all nations) ALWAYS, TO THE END OF
THE AGE.

If Jesus is always with you (disciples of all nations) then he must be OMNIPRESENT.

—  THE HOLY SPIRIT is OMNIPRESENT

Psalms 139:7  WHERE CAN I GO FROM YOUR SPIRIT?  WHERE CAN I FLEE FROM YOUR PRESENCE.  If I go
to the heavens, you are there, if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.  If I rise …

Joel 2:28  And afterward, I will POUR OUT MY SPIRIT ON ALL PEOPLE.

John 14:26  But the Counselor, THE HOLY SPIRIT, whom the Father will send in my name, WILL TEACH
YOU ALL THINGS AND WILL REMIND YOU OF EVERYTHING I HAVE SAID TO YOU.

If the Holy Spirit can teach all believers and remind all believers, he must be OMNIPRESENT.

The previous scriptures tell us that God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are OMNIPRESENT.  This
means all three fill the exact same space everywhere at the same time.  I can’t comprehend this but it’s like
they are interwoven within each other.  They are the same yet separate.

Next week we will read about the characteristic of OMNIPOTENCE.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

Welcome, last week we read scriptures that clearly state that God the Father, the Son and the HOLY SPIRIT
are separate spiritual beings.

Now, let’s read how these separate beings or persons are the same or equal in 5 characteristics.

First, let’s read about their RIGHTEOUSNESS OR HOLINESS (perfect, without wrong).

—  God the FATHER is RIGHTEOUS OR HOLY.

Psalms 145:17  The LORD IS RIGHTEOUS IN ALL HIS WAYS and loving toward all he had made.

Mathew 5:48  Be perfect as your HEAVENLY FATHER IS PERFECT.

1 John 1:5  … GOD IS LIGHT;  IN HIM THERE IS NO DARKNESS AT ALL.

1 Samuel 2:2  There is NO ONE HOLY LIKE THE LORD;

—  God the SON (JESUS) is RIGHTEOUS OR HOLY.

Daniel 4:23  “You, O King, saw a MESSENGER (JESUS), a HOLY ONE, coming down from heaven …

Mark 1:24  “What do you want with us, JESUS OF NAZARETH?  Have you come to destroy us?  I know who
you are- THE HOLY ONE OF GOD!

Hebrews 1:8  But ABOUT THE SON he says, “Your throne, O GOD (JESUS), will last for ever and ever, THE
RIGHTEOUSNESS will be the scepter of the kingdom .

—  The HOLY SPIRIT is RIGHTEOUS OR HOLY.

Isaiah 11:2-4  THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD will rest on him …     … but WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS he
(the Spirit) will judge the needy.

Romans 14:17  For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of RIGHTEOUSNESS,
peace and joy in the HOLY SPIRIT, …

2 Thessalonians 2:13  …, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the SANCTIFY-
ING WORK OF THE SPIRIT and through belief in the truth.

The previous scriptures clearly tell us that God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are RIGHTEOUS OR
HOLY.

Next week we will read about the characteristic of OMNIPRESENCE.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

What is the trinity?  Is it biblical?  Although the word “trinity” is not mentioned in the bible, the idea of the
trinity is referred to many times.

The word “trinity” refers to God as plural.  The Hebrew word for God is “Elahim” which is plural.

The word “trinity” refers to God as more than one.  God is referred to as the Father, the Son and the
Holy Spirit.  All three are separate beings or persons but they are the same or equal in 5 important ways.

Before we read about each of these 5 characteristics, let’s read scriptures that refer to God as more than
one.

Genesis 1:26  Then God said, “Let US make man in OUR image, in OUR likeness, and …

Isaiah 48:16  From the time that it was, there am I;  and now the LORD GOD, and HIS SPIRIT, hath sent
ME (JESUS).

2 Corinthians 13:14  May the grace of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and the love of GOD, and the fellowship of
the HOLY SPIRIT be with you all.

Mathew 3:16-17  JESUS was baptized;  the SPIRIT descended; the FATHER spoke.

Mathew 28:19  Therefore, go and make desciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the FATHER
and of the SON and of the HOLY SPIRIT.

These scriptures clearly state that GOD IS THREE SEPARATE BEINGS OR PERSONS.  THESE PERSONS ARE
THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Next week, although the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are separate spiritual beings, we will read about
the 5 characteristics that make them exactly the same.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.
