The Old Testament was written mostly by the prophets.  Continuing, who wrote the books of the
New Testament (after the birth of Jesus).

Mathew was written by Mathew, one of the twelve apostles.  He traveled and walked with Jesus.  He was an
eyewitness to the life of Jesus.

Mark was written by Mark, also one of the twelve apostles.  He also traveled and walked with Jesus.  He also
was an eyewitness to the life of Jesus.

Luke was written by Luke.

John was written by John.  John 21:24  “This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them
down.  We know that his testimony is true.”

Luke was written by Luke.  Luke 1:3  “Therefore, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the
beginning, it seemed good also to me to write an orderly account for you.”

So far, it appears most of the New Testament was written by the original twelve apostles that travel-
ed and walked with Jesus.

Next, what single author wrote most of the New Testament.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.
