Fantastic sun rays striking through clouds. Graphic effects are applied for a more dramatic image

As we read last week, God sent Moses back to Egypt to free the Israelites.

Moses told the Pharaoh:  “Let my people go.”  Every time the Pharaoh refused, God sent a different plague on
Egypt.

God turned the water of the Nile to blood.

God plagued all of Egypt with frogs.  They will go into the palace, into the houses and the bedrooms.

God sent a plague of gnats.  The gnats were on animals and men.

God sent a plague of flies.  The land was ruined by the flies.

God sent a plague on the livestock of Egypt.  Their horses, donkeys, camels, cattle, sheep and goats all died.

God sent a plague of boils on Egypt.  They covered man and the (non-livestock) animals.

God sent a plague of hail on Egypt.

God sent a plague of locusts on Egypt.  They covered the ground and devoured what little was left, including every
tree that was growing in the fields.

God sent a plague of darkness on Egypt.  Total darkness covered Egypt for 3 days.

Between each plague, Moses told the Pharaoh to release the Israelites.  Each time, the Pharaoh refused.

Next week, a final plague that convinced Pharaoh to release the Israelites.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.
