This week let’s read three scriptures that help prove the “sons of God” from Genesis 6:1-2 can’t be rebellious angels.

Mathew 22:29-30  Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.
At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage;  they will be like the angels in heaven.”

Mark 12:24-25  Jesus replied, “Are you not in error because you do not know the scriptures or the power of God?
When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage;  they will be like the angels in heaven.”

Luke 20:34-36  Jesus replied, “The people of this age marry and are given in marriage, but those who are con-
sidered worthy of taking part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry
nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die, for they are like the angels.

The above scriptures confirm that people and angels cannot marry in the heavenly life.

Last week we read that Satan and the rebellious angels don’t have the power of creation.  They can’t create human
flesh which is necessary to marry and have sex with human women.  They are spiritual beings.

Therefore, since angels cannot marry in the heavenly life and they can’t create themselves as human
in the earthly life, the “sons of God” from Genesis 6:1-2 that marry human women cannot be rebel-
lious angels.

Next week, one more reason that the “sons of God” can’t be rebellious angels.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.

Jeff
