Let’s examine the following scripture.

Genesis 6:1-2  When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born of them, the
sons of God, saw that the daughters of men were beautiful and they married any of them they chose.

Many Christians believe the sons of God were angels that rebelled against God.  The rebellious angels married
and had sex with human women.  As a result, their offspring were a giant human race called Nephilim.

I doubt this since angels are spiritual beings and cannot have sex with human flesh.

Could the rebellious angels have taken human form and than had sex with human women?  I doubt
this since neither Satan nor the rebellious angels have the power of creation.  They can’t create human flesh.

Could God have created the human flesh for the rebellious angels to possess?  I doubt this since in the
very next verse, Genesis 6:3, God expresses his displeasure with the actions of Genesis 6:1-2.  He says “I will not
contend with man forever.”

Could the rebellious angels have possessed already living humans?  I doubt this since the flesh is still
human flesh with human DNA that would not result in a new giant race.

Lastly, the rebellious angels were not cast out of heaven until a later time.  We will read about this later in the
study.

Next week, scriptural evidence that rebellious angels can’t marry or have sex with humans.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.
