Fantastic sun rays striking through clouds. Graphic effects are applied for a more dramatic image

This week let’s take a quick look at what some archeologists believe is the remains of the lost Noah’s Ark.

Genesis 8:3  The water receded steadily from the earth.  At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had
gone down, and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountain of
Ararat.

The photos above matches this scripture.  Many believe this is Noah’s Ark which was found in Turkey on
Mount Ararat.  It was originally photographed in 1960 at an elevation of 13,000 feet on Mount Ararat.  Since
then, many groups have studied the possible ark.

One end of the ark is pointed like the bow of a ship and the opposite end is blunt like the stern of a ship.

In Genesis 6:15 the length of the ark is 300 cubits or 450 feet.  The height is 30 cubits or 45 feet high.

The photo above is 515 feet in length.  The difference in length could have been caused by decaying and each
side falling forward.  Also, movement of the ground could have caused the decaying Ark to increase in length.
And because the cubit (elbow to finger tips) varies in length from Hebrew to Babylon to Egypt, 300 cubits may be
exactly 515 feet?

Many more photos and information about this archeological site can be found on the internet.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.
