fantastic rays

This week let’s continue reading the description of the leviathan.

Job 41:18-21  His snorting throws out flashes of light;  his eyes are like rays of dawn.  Firebrands stream
from his mouth;  sparks of fire shoot out.  Smoke pours from his nostrils as from a boiling pot over a fire
of reeds.  His breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from his mouth.

Job 41:31  He makes the depths churn like a boiling caldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment.

Job 41:33  Nothing on earth is his equal- a creature without fear.

It sounds like the leviathan is the mythical dragon but the leviathan doesn’t fly.  As we mentioned in Dinosaurs 2,
the alligator and crocodile may be a distant ancestor but the leviathan has a rock solid belly and chest.

From the description, the leviathan appears to be a large lizard type creature with a rock hard skin.  No creature is
his equal.  It can swim in the sea and slither on the ground through the mud.  Fire can stream from his mouth and
smoke pours from his nostrils.

Next week we will explore the possibilities of how a a large lizard could have expelled fire.

Thank you so much for reading.  God bless.
